We are excited to have broken ground in October 2020 and have finished the infrastructure this summer. Preparation for concrete foundations for main facility are underway. The target date for opening of the community center is aimed at Fall 2022.
While the CCLC will be owned and operated by the Seven Acres Foundation, we consider it a public amenity that exists to serve the underserved, increase wellness in the valley and connect people and groups with vital resources that enhance our community. The CCLC will be an essential facility, accessible to all, and will have its own programs focused on children, youth, professional development, migrant worker training and assistance and more.
The Seven Acres Foundation is continuing fundraising efforts for the CCLC and anticipates an open date in fall of 2022. The mission of the Community Center is to connect people with the resources they need and with each other in order to enhance the quality of life in the Lake Chelan Valley.
