Denise Nichols

Born and raised in Washington State, Denise often called “Neese”, grew up in western Washington where she married Dave and they raised their 3 boys. Their home was a busy place as it was often the neighborhood hang out for the boys and their friends. Seventeen years ago she and Dave began a gradual move to beautiful NCW and have now been living in the Orondo area full time for the past few years.

As a registered nurse Denise has always had a passion for learning and using that knowledge in helping people in need, physically, emotionally and spiritually and helping them develop some solid life skills. She volunteered in many different capacities, from her boys school and sports teams, was involved in church youth leadership, an outdoor adventure group, to being a certified womens lay counselor. Some of her most memorable times were short term trips to communities in developing countries to lend a hand. After returning from one of these trips, along with a small group of women began an organization called Frontline for Justice who’s sole purpose was to bring awareness and support for the prevention of human trafficking at a time when most were unaware of it. She currently has been volunteering with Real Life Lake Chelan.

An avid snow skier, golfer, and gardener Neese especially enjoys adventuring and hanging out with her husband, family and friends. But, if asked she would probably tell you her happy place is puttering around in the quiet of her vegetable garden.
